May 25th
I woke up this morning and realized that my nest looked... weird? Some of the pages were shuffled, random sections were added, some images were repeated I dunno. I definitely didn't add that stuff while awake and I don't think I'm good enough at coding to do it while sleepwalking hehe. Maybe the site was just being tempermental
Either way! I think I managed to clean up all of the strange things! So if you saw anything weird while I was out, feel free to pretend it never happened! Or don't. It's up to you hehe.
If there's anything left I didn't manage to snag, sorry! (Also note to self: back up the site more often... yikes)

Woohoo!!! Remember what I said about big things coming?! Okay... maybe the big things haven't happened yet because coding takes a long time and I'm not very good... but a cool new smaller thing is here! Say hello to a new minigame!!! Yay!!!!

HOLY COW GUYS!!!! I know you guys have no idea how much effort I just put into my silly little nest, but I have spent ALL DAY whipping up some fun new features. You can't see them yet but BIG things are coming! (If I can figure out how to code games better hehe)

Hi friends! I've continued to do serious work on my site (meaning I've still been focusing my attention here instead of my art) and I've continued to be really really proud of the progress I'm making! Unfortunately, most of today has been spent trying to get the guestbook up and running. However! I think it finally is!!!!! Woohoooooo!!!!
So after 5 hours and about 4 rewrites of the entire page's code- I've got the guestbook working! Goodness gracious. What a way to spend a stormy day, huh?

Obviously it's still really hard to tell you everything that I've been doing in my little nest! I feel like I spent forever in the code of the games page just trying to figure out how to make the memory game work!
Not to make it sound like I'm complaining! I'm still having a ton of fun, but honestly I didn't really realize how difficult coding can be, hehe.
To get into the actual update instead of just my thoughts: I managed to get the memory game to work last night (though I'm going to be polishing it up a little bit more when I muster up the courage to re-enter no mans land) Woohoo! Everythings coming together! I've also started work on the other pages! Hopefully in a few days everything will be up and running!

It's kind of hard to really log all of the changes I've been making to the website within the past few days! I started building my little nest just a few days ago and I've been working non-stop to make it as cozy as I want it to be!
Funnily enough, the website I started to offer my art to the willing masses has brought my usual creative processes to a standstill, but I don't mind! After a while, doing the same types of art over and over can make it pretty hard to find joy or pride in your work. This site has been a welcome change! I am a lot prouder of this place than a lot of my art in recent memory.
I'm really glad that you all can be along for the ride with me! I hope you love my little nest as much as I do!
